I hope you all had a fantastic day, Miri, the kids and I spent it with our German family.
Emi had so much fun, this was the start of all the best Christmas days, she was just so excited!

We're alive!
We made it to Germany, safe and sound. It was actually a fairly good trip, around 12 hours door to door but actually less stress than flying. Although flying is obviously quicker, around 5 hours door to door if flying from Southampton or 8 if from Stansted, I think I prefer to drive as we could take, and bring home, far more and worry far less about the sproglets.

Broke the rear light of the car!
So today I came home for lunch, just for a few minutes to check on the kids and say hello.
Turns out this was a really stupid thing to do as when I got back to Bournemouth there were workmen doing something to the entrance of the car park.
